Towards a future of multi-cultural, multi-species flourishing…

I am a Conservation Scientist, storyteller, and Postdoctoral Fellow interested in community-engaged conservation research and practice that recognizes humans as inextricably part of complex, irreplaceable ecosystems. Using my growing expertise in both social and ecological sciences, and alongside friends, communities, and scholars - I aim to engage in research and storytelling that examines the relationship between humans and wildlife, bridges knowledges, and upholds human rights. I believe in creative, applied research, values-led ecosystem management, responsible and vulnerable storytelling, and engaging in science placed within decolonial frameworks towards a better, kinder world.

The University of British Columbia lies on the lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation. I am currently a visitor on Coast Salish and Tla’amin territories.
